tracing a relatives work place from the 1930s

trying to find out the london railway station that a g/father worked for in 1930s. have tried the Ancestry UK but no luck, any ideas where I could find out more. many thanks.

Are you sure he worked for a specific station?. My Grandfather worked for the London Railways in the 1930's but he was more of an adminstration person but he was sent out to cover holidays etc.
My father passed away in December and I do know he met some people through his father who were staff at that time.
There was a chance he could have helped but sadly this option is not available now.
