i have 7 in my house for various items.

however i have noticed some items have extra abilities instead of using the buttons on their plugged in counterpart. so except for these i have taken the batteries out of the rest.

reason for this i may hear you say....

simple i spent more time looking for the remote (after someone else had used it ) than i would have if i had just gone to the plugged in item and pressed the button.
