What a surprise ending to that game show! It just shows how greedy people in life end up worse off. All they cared about was the money not there self respect and they looked right numptys at the end!

Same with Deal or No Deal. If they would take the decent offer they would be ok but no greed again gets the better of them and they lose the lot. I would certainly take the decent offer.
