"B00...I told you...I only have boys in this house. They leave me alone when I'm in the kitchen!! "
In that case...you go to Tesco, but the 50p pizzas...and a telly, then install telly in kitchen, and watch that whilst you're "slaving" over the pizzas...job done!
We make our own pizza dough every week for "Pizza Saturday".
The recipe we use (from memory ) is:
500g bread flour (white, brown or mixture)
2 tbsp olive oil
1+ 1/2 tsp salt (or less if too salty)
2 tsp sugar
1 x 7g sachet of fast action yeast
250g water.
Stick in bread maker or mix by hand and knead then leave for an hour and a half.
Roll or stretch (i can't stretch it but my missus can) onto lightly greased baking trays and add the usual sauce and toppings.
225g strong flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp easy blend yeast
1 tbsp oil
175 ml warm water
Flour for dusting.
That makes 2 smallish or medium thin pizzas. I tend to make half as much again but don't increase the salt and my recipe doesn't specify any sugar either.
