Radio Shack Pro 79 Scanner

I have a radio shack Pro 79 scanner - how do I tune it in? Also where can I find a listing of the frequencies to listen to, including the ones that you aren't supposed to! - Not that I would, of course! I am based in Hampshire, UK.

You can get a manual for that model HERE. It's only 50 pages or thereabouts so it's well worth reading to get the best out of the radio. Or at least read the tuning and memory bank bits!

For frequency lists, you need to join the Proma UK Yahoo Group.There's definitely frequencies for the South in there. There's a book called Scanners 4 that is quite good for general frequency ranges and antenna ideas. There's a copy in Southampton library or you can buy it from Maplin for around �10 I think.
