West End show for 7 year old
10 Answers
Been looking at taking my daughter to a West End show for her 7th birthday.
Got it down to 2 choices either The Wizard of Oz (as she loves the film) or The Lion King (she's not seen the film)
Has anyone seen both and can advise what would be best?

(That might be something to do with the fact that the Lyceum Tavern, just around the corner, is one of my favourite pubs!).
Nobody would ever have needed to ask any of the children whether they'd enjoyed the show or not. They were all talking excitedly to their parents about what a great time they'd just had!
So that's one vote for The Lion King!

I asked about shows a while ago for my 7 year old grand-daughter.

thanks all, think you've swayed me towards The Lion King. Thats the one Mrs Booldawg recommended and she'll be going up with her to see it. Unfortunately funds dont stretch for me to go :-(
I was quite amazed at just how good these shows are. We got a a free trip up through our social club at work to see 'We Will Rock You' several years ago. I didnt think a West End show would be 'my thing'. I was blown away by the whole experience, so polished and professional. Even though the cast must get bored of these long running shows it seems like they enjoy every performance.
