There is a Stain Devil for coffee staiins. You'll find it in the soap powder aisle

Bit too late now harry but for next time and with any liquid - don't rub it - but put an absorbent cloth on it and pat - step on it soaking the liquid out of the carpet rather than rubbing it in. Leave the cloth in place - moving to a dry patch on the cloth. I have done this loads of time and it does work
