To be fair, they are still there. Not quite 4pm yet. Right in front of neighbours driveway. Hope they let her know.

They can start when they like, a bit of advance notice that I/we could get across our pavement wouldn't have gone amiss. Trust me, I am no long-jumper :D

Ummy, they just seem to be digging it up and taking measurements. Vehicles are till here but the guys have burgerred off.

It's a crazy system. My OH explained it to me. The council get in a firm to fix something. There's probably been a complaint!! Then...they get in a firm to fix that firms work, properly!! Complete waste of money...but that's how it works.
