Waste Ink Absorber Full. Can someone tell me what to do please? When I google for help, it sound so technical. Do I have to buy a new Ink Absorber? Is it really messy to take out old one and put new one in? Where is the Ink Absorber in the printer? Or would it be easier to buy a new printer? I have had it quite a long time. If so, could you please advise me of a Best Buy ; I only use it for printing the odd letter or document, no photos, nothing fancy. But I don't want to buy something really cheap and then the cartidges will cost an arm and a leg, I like to buy the proper cartridges by the way, not compatibles. Any non technical help greatly appreciated.

To fix the problem you need to get inside the printer (involving quite a few screws, a lot of fiddling about and quite a bit of inky mess!). It's officially a 'technician only' job, which means that it would probably cost more than a new printer.
I can't see why you don't want to use compatible cartridges. As long as you use a reputable brand they're just as good as the 'real thing' (particularly if you're not printing photos). But,since you insist, Kodak printers are often the cheapest to run. The ESP C110 has very good reviews:

It costs between £50 and £60, depending upon where you purchase it from.
