Morning, me again!!!

I have just found out that my ex has gone for the child beneift. the children are 13 and 11 and sleep at his when they want so its hard to say who has the majority share so lets say 50/50.
He didnt come and ask me if we could split the benefit he has gone for both of them.
I do all the doctors, dentist, options school appointmets work round school hours and general sort all that sort of stuff out. and have proof the childrens main address for school and stuff is mine.

I have been told to go through the process as once the cb office has made there decision then it is final and he will have no more to fight over as he seems to do this every year. However my child benifit has stopped for now until its sorted and can take up to 20 WEEKS.

Any one had any dealings with this because 20 weeks with no child benifit and having to pay tax credits back to will be a nightmare. I am saving the child tax credits up in case I have to pay it back ( well as much as I can afford).

any help would be useful. Thanks

I have been honest just don't know how I'm gonna last for 20 weeks if it takes that long. I know some people will say well u should of given him on but he does nothing for the kids if it's to help me and everything to try and make things difficult. Will they contact CSA as he doesn't pay for either.
