Challenging a sentence in UK court

I have no personal connection with the case where a man was kicked unconscious and the thug who did the kicking walked free from court with just a suspended sentence.

However, I seem to remember that just one person can challenge a UK court sentence and the matter has to be looked at again.

Does anyone know how to go about this?

Buenchico, thank you for your info.....your eyes must be so much better than mine because I did trawl the cps website.
