Has it got Wifi

I'm selling my laptop, and the potential buyer wants to know if it has Wifi - does this mean that it does not have to be plugged into a broadband cable? I can also use a T-mobile dongle(?) on it, so is that wifi? Thanks for any help.

When you switch it on, you'd see a little wifi symbol light up if it had it?

I've had it a couple of years, and I've occasionally wondered what the little yellow light was for - I'm a bit of a technophobe - as you may have gathered!! thank you all for your help.
