Terminator - The Series
Fox has just given the green light for Terminator - The Series.
Should air on American screens 2006-7 and is based on The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Her life with John Connor between the 2nd and 3rd films.
A 4th Film is also due in 2006 and the Series will not affect this film in any way.
What does everyone think? Will it be a great extension of the franchise or is it going to be strange having a terminator series with a smaller budget and different actors?

I would love a new film, I would prefer they brought James Cameron back though!! I'm not sure about a series, I don't like it when they change actors. It annoyed me that they didn't use Edward Furlong as John in Terminator 3 and I'm not sure I could get used to another Sarah. But then I think it depends on how good it'll be...
So all in all I don't know! :)
kaktus - i think they wanted edward furlong but he was pretty much a serious druggie and couldn't have done it.
I agree though, it never feels right when they use other actors - who bear little resemblance to the original.
I thought it was lame the way they killed off sarah - with leukemia, though I suppose if linda hamilton won't do it, they haven't much choice
