We're having Fish & Chips tonight anyone else indulging?
Its been a while since we last had some & its getting rather expensive too.
£5.50 for a skate wing,£4.50 for a large cod. Mind you the place we go to cooks it beautifully, lovely crisp batter & lots of chips. I like mine with some pickled onions and a splash of onion vinigar.... Can't wait, roll on 6o/c.

I wish you could get normal garden peas at the chippy (not that I've been to one for ages!), can't do mushy ones, even the thought of them...urgh...
Ahhh, go on China, what did you order?
Ooh, marmalade bread and butter pud, haven't made that in ages. Sprinkled with candied peel and Demerara sugar before baking, soft, squidgy and crunchy all at the same time. Might have to make one tomorrow...
