The reporter as good as blamed one French minister for starting the whole thing.
Last night's news (apologies, can't remember which channel) also gave lengthy coverage to the situation.
Dom Tuk - please could you briefly clarify what it is you don't have a problem with... the riots, or trying to prevent them?
Its called censorship.
The riots in the midlands a couple of weeks ago between asian and blacks, on the BBC News site it said see this in pictures, there were about 8 pics all of them showed burnt out vehicles or workers/police not one of them show the rioters. if it had been some whites having a fracas i bet they would have shown them, same with the french riots, as its immigrants theyll show as little as possible.
The french are having a taste of what will happen here soon, its not if its when. As usual its blamed on everything except the people themselves
IT all started because Muslims and other ethnic workers are demanding the same pay as French citizens. This is true, as i have relatives over there. I cant see why other nationalities dont start off at the bottom of the "pay" league. I cant see a problem with that myself............. work your way up.
