The part which seems to be causing problems is the line "I am edible if you are sociable" as it cuts down a large amount of the answers. The correct answer they're looking for would be Gold, (one of the first 4 things, in the ring, edible as gold flakes, readily available as it's used in other jewelry and available in different types or colours (BARELY)) but it's a stupidly written riddle and makes little rational sense.

I'd say Dress, since that plays off the rest of the lines apart from the edible line and makes a nice reference to the old statistic that in 1/10 people are gay and thus at a gay wedding may not require a dress.
