Roland HD-1 Electronic Drum Kit
Hi There everyone!
At the risk of sounding silly, can someone explain this to me like I'm a 4 year old?!
How do you connect the Roland HD-1 drum kit to your PC using Midi? Is there a Midi to USB cable available?
I need a step by step guide really!
Finally, is there any easy to use software available to record?
Any help would be fantastic!
Thanks Everyone

You need a special cable with the normal midi connection (5 pin in a semi-circular arrangement) at drum machine end and a 14 (or some such number) pin square for the soundcard. These leads come with the soundcard or can be bought retail. Midi drivers will have to be installed and any software you're using will have to be configured to recieve midi messages. Your drum machine will default output on midi channel 10.
