To cut a long story short, went out yesterday with hubbie to meet friends for the evening. We met mid afternoon and I had a couple of glasses of white wine, as per usual. That was at 5pm. I have no memory of anything else until 11pm when I tried to find my husband and friends, which I failed to do. I felt very very odd and somehow manage to find my way back to the hotel room, woke up this morning and hubbie was asleep next to me. he hasnt mentioned it at all but is acting rather offish. I darent ask what happened incase I did something really embarassing or stupid, but what on earth would have made me black out 6 hours from my memory?? Im quite scared just thinking about it. I

is it possible, he does not remember about the " night out " as well. maybe too much alcohol for you both !
smowball- i have been roaring drunk on more occasions that I care to remember- but I always did remember something of them- losing all recollection is not normal however drunk you are- I would concur that something is amiss and you really need to be talking to your husband.
Point of interest, were these the people who you asked a question about the other day meeting- the ones you don't know very well ( the question about going out as a foursome etc), and why were you in a hotel? Something seems really fishy to me and I think you really need to get to the bottom of it imho.
I really don`t like the sound of this, are you a very attractive woman, if you see what I mean and how long have you known your husbands personality, what type of people does he choose the company of. Get to the bottom of this straight away, or see a solicitor for advise.
Rohipnol?
Just wanted to see how you are doing and whether you got any answers. Hope all's ok x
That's what occurred to me, eastern.....
I know just how you feel Snowball, when I was about 20 the same thing happened to me except that when I when to the pub the next day all my friends burst out laughing. I never did find out what I'd done but even now after forty years if were having a "do you rember" session and it comes up the result is still the same and I still don't know even when Trish asked about it all she was told that it was an old boys secret.
did you talk to your OH smowball ?

Hiya anneasquith. Well,..... yes and no. I have gathered that he got very drunk himself, from what I can gather. I looked at my mobile closely and saw that he had txt me at 8pm saying was I going to join them downstairs so I was clearly up in the room on my own. Then yesterday he sent me an email about another matter and said in future for me to say if I didnt enjoy an evening out as I had spent most of the evening glaring at him(??). So clearly I didnt vanish from THEIR company for 6 hours - I just dont remember the evening! Im wondering if it was anyting to do with the fact that I decided 2 wks ago to drastically cut down on alcohol, from several glasses every evening to just drinking tea/diet coke most nights - and whether the wine just totally went to my head??
