No ummm it wasn't. I am not on sab. Thought about joining to deny it, but could see no point. I will admit to having a look now and then.

I did that Daisy. when asked I said I had a chronic back ache, the wife was screaming at the kids. No beer in the house, so why don't you bother someone else. He hung up.

I had my second one of these computer virus calls this morning. I'm really disappointed with myself that I wasn't prepared enough to have some fun with him. Just told him I didn't have a PC and hung up.

Need to write myself a little script and keep it next to the phone for the next time.

I had a guy call about the number of 'Windows' error messages he had received from my computer and could I log on to it immediately. When ,I told him it was impossible that he had received such error messages, he stated that they were transmitted automatically. When I told him that I had a Mac he said "That's ok, we do Mac's as well"

I don't get these calls but I am ex-directory or the fact that I just drop the phone on cold callers.

I do like AOL (who are my ISP) ringing me up to offer me "discount" then asking for my details, and then, getting upset when I won't tell them.

I do get all sorts of spam (phone, mail, E-Mail) from charities this is the price you pay for helping someone and getting on a charity mailing list.

Have you also noticed that despite the obvious Asian accent they are all called John/Jack/Richard/Mary or Jane etc
