Just made a lovely pot of mushroom soup - unfortunately added too much pepper - any solutions?

Great idea - thank you.
plain yoghurt is great for 'calming things down'. It's good as a side dish with curry as well.
And I also read if you put too much salt,say in a stew or soup add a bit of potato.
