Apparently she had a hard time giving birth, lost a lot of blood. Let's hope she's OK. And here goes Mrs grumpy again - but why does she have to hog the limelight, wear those ridiculous shoes etc. Why can't she just stay at home for a couple of weeks before the birth, put her feet up and look after her other gorgeous daughter? What is it with these celebs ? I suppose the next thing is, when she is better (fingers crossed) she will be on the front page of OK magazine earning a few more bob. Sorry to be so grumpy, she is still very ill, but I have to say what I feel.

There's this big myth around what pregnant women can and cannot do. They can carry on as normal...they can lift heavy things...they can stretch as far as they need to stretch...they can be busy....they can wear high heals!!!!
If something is going to go wrong...the chances are it'll go wrong either way.
Sometimes...that's just the way it is.

I'd like to know how on earth you know she was told to rest up at 7 months trt?
Do you read the Daily Mail? Or is it the Sun for your information?
Jesus the poor woman has been through what a lot of other women wouldn't cope with then she very nearly dies so what's the best thing to do? Oh yes, slate her on a public forum.
How very lovely of you saying she shouldn't be doing this and should have been doing that
She could have been this ill if she had been on bed rest for 9 months
She could have .....
She was pregnant, not ill. It would have mattered not a jot if she was jogging all through her pregnancy or sitting on a chaise lounge, this still could have happened
There but for the grace of God .........

Wearing skyscraper heels when pregnant - not a problem I did ! In fact if you always wear them you are more likley to trip in flat shoes ,my daughter says I walk like a duck in trainers and I constantly trip. I bet she was uber carefull with this pregnancy , as said earlier it sounds like a birthing problem . Poor lady I hope her and the little one get well soon.
I will look forward to seeing pics of them in ok mag etc.

Bed rest is usually only advised when the mother has an incompetent cervix and pressure needs to be taken off it, with bleeding during pregnancy or with serious pre-eclampsia. I had to have complete rest with my first pregnancy because of pre-eclampsia, I was admitted to hospital and wasn't even allowed to go to the bathroom from my bed without being wheeled there.
If Amanda Holden's pregnancy was progressing normally there was no reason whatsoever that she should have been resting.
