Only ever having been one gender, I am not sure how anyone can say.

This is true Woofgang ! ;-)
I dont think anyone can answer this question - it is virgin on the ridiculous
I would think there's more pressure on a bloke. Then again, they're at that age where the feel so randy they probably don't think about it so much.
Obviously can't say for both either but as a girl surely it is more nerve-racking because a lot of girls want it to be special and romantic and with the right guy at the right time etc so may be worried thats its not quite right or as they wanted it to be. For a guy though surely they know they're not going to be a sex god the first time round!

I think the same Ummmm....more pressure on the guy.
I suppose it also depends who they are doing it with.
Very painful for some females so I would say more nerve-racking for a woman.

Ron.
I think it depends on the circumstances.

I was extremely lucky - mine happened with a girl who was experienced, in my bed at home on a Saturday afternoon. She knew I was a night-club DJ and as we were 'proceeding' she told me that I must have had hundreds of girls. I told her she was the first, and she was amazed! I was SO happy - made the whole experience even better!
I tend to think these days that girls are far more sexually aware through the media and have high expectations of good sex SO I think it's more nerve-wracking for the bloke. We don't accept 2 minute fumblings anymore:-)
And they have porn at their fingertips...so lots of unrealistic expectations.
hmmmmmm im sure boys practice losing it beforehand far more than girls so in theory they shouldnt be as concerned about the 1st time?
That shows the difference betwen the theory and the practical then, doesn't it!
As I recall, performing was not ever an issue as boys are brimming over with hormones. I just needed to 'do it' as early as possible with anyone who would have me. From then on I became selective and subsequently needed a mental connection. Nerve racking no. Exciting - definitely.
