Or anyone else who can help... Hi j2, I notice in an answer to the 'Broadband' question below you said the email had been down for two days... I too am on ntl 600k and have been unable to access my email lately, although it's ok now. Every now and then I get a message 'Pop 3 server not working properly' and then after a few days it seems to right itself again.

So my question (as I know you're a computer whizz) is this... Is this what you were talking about, and if it isn't can I remedy this problem myself next time it occurs? Thanks.

There is only one way to configure your pop mail pickup and it sounds as though you have done it correctly, so the answers are yes (the unavailability of the pop3 server) no (you can't do anything about it). You can view your mail via the webmail facility on the ntlworld homepage but I find this painfully slow. I guess ntlworld is so popular and has so many email accounts to look after the infrastructure is getting creaky!
