Is This Scottish Slapstick Soup Netball
29 Answers
I've microwaved a can of Baxter's Cullen Skink.
Is that Scottish? It sounds Scottish.
If so, then I'm eating it in honour of Scotland, for entertaining everyone (not that I actually saw it until yesterday) with that really jolly bit of slapstick rugby ...
"To you ..."
"No, to you ..."
"No, back to you."
"To ... err ... oh, to the English guy."
"Okay, to me ..."
"No, err ... too late."
If it's not Scottish, well it's still rather nice.
Have I taken too much bread? Maybe I'll leave a couple of slices.
So anyway, this week's Netball (SkySports 4, Thursday 7.00pm) will be another game featuring the Yorkshire Whippets (Surely "Jets"? Ed.). This week, the Whippets are at home to Team Northumbria.
Well, I say at home ... it's being played in Hull. That's not in Northumbria, so it must be a home game for the Whippets.
Hang on ... isn't Hull in Lincolnshire?
