Another Pointless wrong answer

Did anyone notice the wrong answer yesterday (Mon 6th Feb)
The question was "In what programmes did these characters first appear in. They said Jack Regan first appeared in the Sweeney but it was a 2 hour programme in 1974 called "Regan" which was before The Sweeney ever started,

I think the question said what detective series did the character appear in and one was Jack Regan.

If the question was "what series...?" then they are correct as Regan was a one-off, not a series.

In the same programme they also said that Dave Briggs was a detective, played by Robert Powell, who first appeared in the spoof series The Detectives, but in fact he first appeared in 'Canned Carrott' alongside Jasper. Interesting that they got two things wrong in the same show.

The question was in which series they first appeared so the Reagan answer was correct.

Robert Powells charachter was in a segment called the Detectives but I think sea peajay has a point
