I do like Valentines day but dont ever go our for a meal -restaurants are a total rip-off on that day. I do a nice meal at home instead.

God, i really am so lazy not bothering to find mysef a boyfriend after being single for 6 months! ;) might pop to tesco tomorrow and pick one up, could prob get the engagement ring in there too.

dont have to be single to hate it. Me and my bloke dont really bother with it, maybe a card. Would rather spend our money on worthwhile things. I still think it should be moved to February 29th so every 4 years. The woman at work always gets flowers delivered to work from her husband and I just think 'sorry dont you know where she lives'

It does help that i work with men only and they are the least romantic fools ive ever met. Last year one picked up a card for his wife from thr petrol station on the way home. He didnt bother to check it though, just went by the pick of the flowers. I was a get well soon card.

I got a card the other year with a badge saying 'great mate' I laughed and thought he had done it on purpose as he's always calling me mate and I tell him off for it, but turned out he couldnt find the valentines cards in shop so had to get a birthday one lol
