Upgrade or Buy new ??

Hi all
I have a Samsung N110 netbook, 1Gb Ram and 160 Gb HD, windows XP. I am in a quandary and wonder if anyone has an opinion on the following : I want to get W7 onto the netbook so I can "share" various items (Docs, photos etc - my main PC has W7 Home premium). Is it worth spending out on a copy of W7 and replacing the 1Gb Ram with 2Gb, or should I spend out and buy a new Netbook, perhaps selling the "old one" on E Bay ? Any thoughts out there ?

You don't need to do either to share files between the two computers, windows XP can share files with windows 7 no problem.

You can share stuff already, you don't need a new notebook, and you don't need to put W7 on it.

Chuck's answer wasn't there when I click submit. For some reason, today, clicking submit on AB seems to result in a wait of anything up to 2 mins!
