i aquired a female spade 6 year old lhasa apso 2 months ago her previous owner was unable to look after her she has setteled in well but occasionally urinates indoors if she is left alone for more than 10 minutes and i mean even if i go out of the room if she is in her bed asleap\ or resting and then realises no one is there she will do it , when i come in and point out to her she creaps away knowing i am going to scold her and put her outside but this seams to have no effect she has now deficated inside a few times the last week i am finding it very frustrating as she has lots of walks and is put in the garden regually and i praise her now when she goes outside, she is a dear little dog i just wonder is she just stupid or just so insecure any help thanks ,

Scold her? How?

Has she always done this since you adopted her, and have you had her checked over by a vet? She is obviously still very insecure.
and breathe!
Get her checked for cistitis, cranberry tablets can help. But definitely don't scold her, it will make her worried and more likely to do it. Try to totally ignore it if it happens. Up the praise when she goes outside to almost manic proportions - be really pleased with her. Stay out with her till she goes. Do you know how long she was in her previous home - perhaps she was there a short while and she thinks she may be being moved on again soon. Go back to house training like you would a puppy.
getonwith it I see you have posted this same question before and been advised to stop scolding the dog. You appear to have ignored that very good advice and there doesn't appear to have been any improvement either in your behaviour or the dog's. You say the dog cowers so is obviously frightened of you. You have asked for advice, people have responded, so why don't you take it instead of asking the same question again? I think you have to change your behaviour before you can change your poor dog's. Please try for both your sakes. Ignore the bad and praise like crazy the good and stop taking her back to her transgressions. Sorry if I sound harsh but I am concerned for your dog. If you still don't understand, watch "It's me or the dog" with Victoria Stilwell the trainer.
