I recently bought an LCD TV but I'm disappointed with the viewing angle, this, despite the set boasting that it had a wide viewing angle. I've looked at exactly the same model as I have in other stores and the viewing angle seems a lot better, I asked an assistant in one store why this is and he said that as the lighting in most stores is florescent this can make the viewing angle look better. Is this true???...Unfortunately most people don't have this type of lighting in their living rooms!

most lcd tvs have a viewing angle of around 170 degrees i think, but it may be affected if your tv is facing a window and suffers from reflection. have you tried darkening the room?
