I was sorry to hear of Whitney Houston's death, she brought a lot of pleasure to a lot of people with her beautiful voice.

That wonderful talent was, as in the tragic cases before her, her problem.....super stars like Elvis for one and MJ for another move out of the real world and that other world can be a nasty place....looks glamorous to us mere mortals but....????

I don't understand why someone in her position should feel the need to take drugs. I can just about understand why someone who lives on the streets or in poverty and has nothing else, why they may need to try to erase the misery of their lives with drugs. But someone like Whitney Houston who has everything and should have no worries in life but yet still takes drugs, I find incomprehensible. There have been many examples of people in her position who destroy their life with drugs, why? Some people are never satisfied with what they have.
