Firefox Prevented This Page ...

Every time I go to a page in AB, I get this message at the top of my screen ...

"Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page"

While it appears, my page shuffles itself up and down a bit.

Quite often, as I'm about to click on something, the page does that shuffle thing, and I click on the wrong link.

Does anyone know what this is all about?

Sounds like you'r firefox is going AWOL...no problems with Norton

norton is system protection software not a web browser, it may add security to a browser but it is not itself a browser

It happens on every page, Ed.

There's no advert ... just a peach coloured bar at the top of the AB window.

Ah, it's confusing us serving ads from somewhere else onto the page with taking you away from it. It's not something to worry about. You should be able to select to display or not display them in future from the yellow bar?

Internet Explorer has modified this page to help prevent cross-site scripting. Can someone explain in easy words what this means?
How can I block the adverts?

Dicky. It's the same problem as JJ.

We serve adverts from another server into the boxes on this site.

Browsers often think that, by doing this, someone else is serving content to the site from a different sever. So, as this could be dangerous, they stop showing some adverts to you and gvie you that scary warning message.

Hi Chi-Chi,

Norton isn't a browser. Norton is a security package. It's possible it's changed your default search to its own google custom search engine.

A browser is program which allows you to access the internet. It is likely to be Internet Explorer, Firefox or Chrome.
