Hope so. It could be the best thing that happens to Scottish football.
It would mean that all the fans and supporters would then have to start supporting their local home teams which will generate much needed income for the smaller clubs and increase the gate numbers. It would also help kerb the sectarian bile which will always remain whilst you have the old firm rivalry.

I was a Rangers fan in the 90s but stopped going due to the costs and started going to my local club. Wish I'd done it years ago and not jumped on the glory hunters bandwagon.
It's just a football club at the end of the day so who cares really. All sports should be for fun, not profits.
Plenty of teams have gone into administration and used the 'breathing space' to give them time to restructure their finances. (e.g. Leeds United and my local team, Ipswich Town). I doubt that it's the end of Rangers.

However I'd be less optimistic about the future of Pompey:
