Has anyone noticed that the grid in the newspaper does not fit the solutions and the on-line crossword club grid is also incorrect?

I've downloaded and completed the crossword and only noticed a small mistake - no 28d (should be 27d)

I took Doctor in this clue to be DS (Doctor of Surgery).

The S ties in with manatees

I thought DR ffor doctor around anag. of easily. Can DS mean doctor making DIALYSES?

I think it is a little unfair for DOCTOR to mean DS... Is there such a thing as a Doctor of Surgery? Don't doctors become Misters when they qualify as surgeons?
I took "Goes on kidney machine" to be short for "[He who] goes on kidney machine...", ie a dialyser. I would never have got manatees.

This was one tough puzzle!
