Is there nothing that unscrupulous bar stewards won't stoop to - think of the possible consequences to a young motorist involved in a fatal accident & finding they are uninsured ...
With all due respect, would you not check out a company first before you had any dealings with them?
I expect it was cheap and other companies are so expensive the young driver thought he was getting a bargain. Also, s.b. I agree with what you say, but when you are young what do you know, you accept everything at face value.
But surely in these days of scams, fake lottery winnings, ex-Nigerian presidents offering you gold and so on, I would have thought people were a little more "streetwise" than this?
Aston Midshires might not necessarily have been trading illegally. Their policies were underwritten by European Wood Insurance and Aston Midshires were probably unaware of any problems until the Swedish regulator withdrew that company's authorisation to operate a fortnight ago:

We all look for the cheap deals Square, but if the offer is there I think a lot of people will go for it especialy the young because of cost as one youngster found out in the Lancs area when stopped by the police.
