Printing problem

I've got an A4 sized document (on the PC) and I'm wanting to shrink it down to A5 size and print 2 side by side on a sheet of A4 paper. How do I do it pls ?

As Chris has pointed out, most printers in their 'setup' or 'properties' section have a 'sheets per page' option.
