Apart from the News it might be The Sky at Night. For soaps surely it is Coronation Street.

Panorama (current affairs programme) - running since 1953 without a break in production
Sky at Night started in 1957.

No - Coronation Street started in 1960 and Top of the pops started in 1964 (I think) so The Sky At Night is older.

Blue Peter started in 1958, the same week as Grandstand, so neither of those is the longest-running. While you would think the News might be, in fact BBC news bulletins didn't start until a few months AFTER Panorama.
