Red faces

Why is it that when I go to aerobics or zumba mine, and my two friends faces go red when working out although we are not breathing that heavily, but other people don't go red.

I'm as fit as a lop but my face goes red after about ten minutes' good exercise. My sister is very unfit, but if she ever does exercise, to look at her you wouldn't know she was exerting herself at all. I googled it once, and it's just a case of "that's the way it is." So don't worry about it...
I just think that the reddening of your face is your bodies way of dispersing the increased heat in your body by expanding the capiliaries in your skin, hence more heat transfer from your body core to the outside air.
Nothing to worry about, it's just your way of staying cool, (but not quite looking cool), in the gym. :-)

I once asked my doc this when I first started jogging many moons ago, and he confirmed that some do go red more than others. just the way you are. he checked me over and I was ok. I go to Zumba 3 times pw if poss and still go as red as a lobster by the time Im finished whereas others dont. But I dont mind so much now, except when Im going shopping straight afterwards. I feel a bit conspicuous. So dont worry too much about it and keep going
Thanks for all your answers . I am quite fit I have been doing aerobics for some 10 years and zumba since it first started about 2.1/2 years. I always go red but am not really breathing that hard. I think that me and my mate probably put more into it than some who go and never break into a sweat. I agree with Nibble, that blood come to the surface of the skin to cool off, putting it simply.
