Probably, but i'd imagine any security system worth its salt will be advanced enough to avoid this. ie direction of light, intensity, diameter of beam etc etc

I'd doubt it. PIR sensors notice movement of heat.

I tried it before on my own sensor and it seemed to work, was just wondering if anyone knew whether it works on all of them. Thanks anyway peeps!
