MM Links Results February 2012 Week 3
6 Answers
The 'Baron Brian' challenged you all with a mixed bunch of mongrels this weekend. The right answers were sitting there begging to be chosen but did you select any of them?
You were seeking the following links.
MAX WALL
IRISH ROVER
PRINCE CONSORT
SPOT CHECK
I hope our younger players don't feel disadvantaged by the reference to Max Wall but I thought that should have been offset by the give-away 'Irish Rover'. After all, 'The Baron' did sign off saying 'County Antrim'.
My condolences to 40% of players for whom Valentine's Day obviously didn't work out thus forcing them to seek their Prince Charming here. Sadly it was not to be.
So how did the results go?

No best answer has yet been selected by gen2. Once a best answer has been selected, it will be shown here.
For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.No double hitters this week but eight of the first 16 players scored 2 points from just three of the links.
MAX WALL was the silly walk favourite of Rockfordill and Lysander.
IRISH ROVER sailed the boat for BigMac, Evsajo and Slaney.
And a quick SPOT CHECK revealed points for Tearinghair, OwlLady & Christiana
The day progressed with a few singles being claimed here and there until teatime when along came SHAZZA to claim a first hit on PRINCE CONSORT for 2 points.
Not only that, but she matched 'Max Wall' AND 'Spot Check' for two singles as well.
Therefore, for being the only Triple Hitter (indeed, the only multiple hitter) and highest scorer I declare:
*** THE HOTSHOT ***
*** OF THE WEEK ***
*** IS S*H*A*Z*Z*A ***
Congratulations.
In summary, this week's scorers were:

4 Strix
4 tearinghair
3 Brenden
3 Elspeth
3 Handbaglady

Right behind her is a whole pack of chasers, any of whom could take crown next weekend so with all to play for, don't forget to join us all next weekend to see how it all plays out.
Same time Same place,
so until then
