Super view in midlands last night against Jupiter and venus closing together closer each night.

clip is not very good . You have to be quick the first bright light is venus then just look for the white spot. Not very good as just taken with an ordinary camera
Sorry to be so negative but that was a bit late, wendilla. I could have done with knowing that about 3 hours ago. Are there any more sighting tonight or not?
Err - I think wendilla was bang on time - the fact that you didn't notice her post for three hours is hardly her fault ...


.. and no - no more sightings tonight.
It was lovely and clear here against a black sky with Jupiter and Venus shining brightly, wonderful view but blimming cold so it was a good job it didn't last too long lol. Wendi...didn't see much on your video clip or was that just me not catching it right?
wendilla do you know if Venus and Jupiter were in these same positions about 30 years ago? I remember two very bright and large stars in the sky side by side for several nights back then.
