no radio code

Hi can anyone tell me how to get hold of the code for a grundig
2002 radio, had a new alternator fitted and battery had to be
disconnected, now all i get is the word safe on display panel,
no music is driving me mad.

look at radio to see serial number if its starts with M go on ebay .you will get code for 99p,

Please do not think that they are short unhelpful answers Kiwikez, Not implying but a lot of expensive radios are getting stolen these days my wife's included, the only advice anyone will get from this section is, ask the dealer, EBay, look at your Car Manual / Audio books.
Am I the only person who has an intelligent "self-coding" original-equipment unit that doesn't need manual input of a code?
No gingejbee but it's a relatively recent feature in the mass market. If it's a Grundig from a Vauxhall then the dealer or a specialist decoder's your best bet kiwikez
