WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.

We do remember them. We are (if we’ve any decency) immensely proud of them. The question is, would they be proud of us for allowing the nation, for which they fought so bravely and sacrificed so much, to degenerate into the shambles it is today?

lest we forget...

As for shambles today for gods sake, lets get things in perspective,we have never had it so good.. the masses who gave their lives would say that you don't know how lucky you are to live in a age and a country such as it is today.. my grandfather and his brother were at dunkirk and later fought in burma..and would often say the same thing. lets not glamorise those days it was a harsh and poverty striken age, with no NHS to care for the masses and malnutrition was widespread...
