Didn't watch the first series but recorded this new one on Saturdays and thoroughly enjoyed the first one which we watched this afternoon (nothing else on tv of course, it being Sunday!) Took a few minutes to get used to the fast pace of the subtitles but very good indeed, really looking forward to the rest of the series. However Mr Q and I very taken aback to see Salvo's girlfriend, Livia, topless in bed - Joyce Barnaby would never have done that!!!

Hello Quizzy - you always seem to watch the stuff I like - yes Montalbano is great. He nearly fell by the wayside with that new woman, didnt he! Will you also be watching "Those Who Kill" the Danish series starting this Thursday night - looks to be good!

Hi Mata. Saw Saturdays episode last night - another fruity bit. tut tut. What a great series it's turning out to be. And Salvo himself is looking more darned attractive every episode! Also enjoy Whitechapel (Mr Penry Jones - Mmmm) and NCIS (Mark Harmon - even with the daft hair cut.)

I'll certainly give the Danish series a go. We usually record stuff and save it for the weekend (TV is rubbish at the weekend except for Insp M of course) also can't stand anything with adverts so we can zip through those.
