True story ... I was sacked as a bingo caller by my local village hall (I was only doing it anyway because no-one else could make the PA system work).

My first (and last) appearance provoked a severe sense of humour failure by local worthies, apparently caused by my comment following "6 and 9 ... 69" ...

Oh dear - how can I say this?

I feed the foxes living in my garden. The wheelie bins have curtailed their foraging to a serious degree. (They are not yet 6'5" around here.)
