Three totally unrelated examples here, so hard to reply in one go.

Ghosts, I answered this yesterday in History and Myths, so please check that out as I said rather a lot to repeat, but my evidence says 'no'.

The soul, well every definition I've ever seen varies at least slightly from the other, so I'd say it's a vague human invention and one with no real substance behind it (ie no).

Karma. There is definitely cause and effect, and now they discover stress can ****** our DNA and pass it on to following generations. This is nature's karma, but the only other I know is that trouble or less frequently wealth finds us on its own usually whatever we try and do to avoid one or get the other. It seems we're relatively powerless to create a position in life, so could blame fate/karma as the true cause which is beyond our control. But also emotional karma caused by previous stress can be burnt away (so I'm taught) by watching it without trying to avoid it, until it goes on its own. You're then said to have burnt it away, and if you do this with it all (may take many years) you lose all karma and as a result are enlightened. This karma I can relate to though the results as yet elude me.

Ghosts:- it is not clear whether they do exist or not. Some have claimed that they saw fleeting apparitions of the dead. This is possible.

Soul:- naturally, MAN is made up of 3 entities namely - body, soul and spirit. The body is the 'case' that houses the real YOU. The SOUL is the seat of your emotions, intelligence and thought processes. The spirit is the REAL you. At death, the body decays and the soul stops functioning, but your spirit goes on living, either in heaven or hell. Heaven, if you believed in Jesus before your death. Hell, if you rejected Jesus before you died. That is why it is very important for you to believe in and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour now. He loves you and will forgive you of all your sins if only you can come to him and surrender your life to him. Cheers.
