Ha ha ha Mr T! I've only just met you, and your already expecting me to dump all my friends for you! Ex-friend!
JudgeJ, sometimes it's imposible to meet up with the people you care about everyday. Just because I text them instead, doesn't mean I don't have a life (actually, I don't, but it's the principle of the matter!)
I've had the same problem, in fact I fell out with my best friend for a year because of a guy she went out with. I just happened to mention to her that she'd only ever see me if her bf was busy etc. She replied by telling me that I was sad, stupid and needed to get a life. Love does strange things to people. But if the day comes that they split with their men, they will always come crawling back - I know from experience!! I know it sounds annoying but all you can do is wait, or maybe try making new friends?
Its definitely not too much to ask, I know that when I'm seeing a guy I always make time for my friends because I know how much it can hurt to be forgotten about. After all, there's plenty of guys out there, but friends should stick together. Sounds very 'Trisha' but its true...
sometime people are just busy and preoccupied with other things - did they reply straight away before? or are you only noticing it now?
perhaps, if your questions are about meeting up, they want to wait until they have check with their man first
stupid i know, but if your partner can only see you on certain days because of work etc, most people will work around this
i don't always reply immediately to texts because I am in the middle of something else or I need to consider the reply, and it irritates me when i get another text 2 minutes later saying ;' did you get my text' ' or are you ok' etc. people expect you to drop everything to reply, even when its just a 'how are you text'.
why not text them a few minutes later and say 'did you get my text?' or say in the text that you need a reply asap so you can do other things.
it is very annoying when you are with some one chatting and they keep texting, even when you are talking, one ex friend used to text under the table while i was talking, instead of saying 'hang on a sec' or something
