Any suggestions for a cheap reliable small starter car. I had a Kia Picanto 2004-2006 in mind . What do you think?
Thanks.

Yep, that is an ok starter car, what about a Ford KA, Vauxhall Corsa, Renault Clio, Peugeot 107, Citoren C2, ect.
Of all those listed the Kia will be most reliable.

My wife has had a Matiz for 7 years (her 2nd) It has been most reliable and I would say a good starter car.
Any car small or large is as reliable as the service it receives Pork, if you do get one of the listed cars, get EVERYTHING checked before purchase, Its a Byers market out there so do not bye before you think! Haggle for everything even the mats inside depending on the price asked the Garage wants your money, the difference is You can walk away.
I heard somewhere the Picanto did badly in the NCAP crash tests. Also I found Korean cars really expensive to keep on the road, spares much more costly when compared to those for a Ford or Vauxhall for example.
