Have you seen a ghost?

I'm watching a documentary called "Dead Tenants", where families tell of their homes experiencing hauntings.

Has anyone seen a ghost? Where, when and were you scared?

Well Velvetee, and good evening to you - yes, we have 2 or 3 in our house. We've all seen them, and "felt" them. Guests've seen them as well. Both are female, but there's also a male presence. It can be disconcerting - but not really frightening, as we've got used to them, and accept that however they're there, they are.

4get and i have a "ghost" in our flats.

In my flat all it does is shake the bed in middle of night (I dont live there now but a friend who stayed after i left and didnt know about it, reported same thing). I would also always look down the corridor towards and old door that used to connect to 4gets flat as if expecting to see someone there. It never scared me at all, even when bed shook, i think its a nice spirit.

Ive also seen what both me and my hubby though may have been a ghost but didnt want to go back and check. It was a man in an outfit like a quaker but his face and hands were shining bright white. he was walking along the side of the road late one night and walking on a level that was no longer flat. ie he walked straight along a bank without stumbling and that bank actually has large drainage cuts in it every 10ft of so.

we have a ghost in our attic, and he hates me going up there! apparently he used the attic as a hideaway when he used to live here. he used to go up and read books and he had posters of birds everywhere, i dare not take them down. ive only been up there once since i moved in 2 years ago, he seemes to only let my partner up there. when i opened the attic door the first time i fell to the floor. thinking something had hit me on the head, but nothing did.

my partner was standing behind me with boxes and couldnt believe it! the pressure on the top of my head was unbearable, it was almost like he was pushing down on my head and it didnt go until the door was shut. i still get it if i go up the stairs when the door is open.

but the most scared ive ever been is when i was at my cousins baby's christening. we were a little early when we got out to the church only a few other family members were there. my cousins husbands sister in-law was there with her 2 kids which was a relief for my little girl because she was geting bord. when she seen the kids playing up at the alter she said to me mum can i go play chase with the kids. i was a little reluctant as there was a lot of breakables up at the alter, so i said i dont know i'd rather you stayed here with me in case there is an accident. she replied- but there daddy is playing with them so its ok right mum? I FROZE!

When i looked up at the kids again they WERE playing chase and THEY were being chased.
Only thing is there daddy died 6 weeks before the christening and was suppose to be godfather that very day to my cousins baby named after him.

I just guess he didnt want to miss it :)

We live in the Peak district area, parts of the house date back to the early 17th century, and yes, we know the house's history. We know of no one who's died here under suspicious circumstances, although it's said that one relative either fell, or threw herself down the stairs.
We live quite happily with our spectres, but I think a person has to witness one to really believe.

I would imagine, only certain people are able to see them or sense their presence. I guess you have to be tuned in. I've never seen anything, but my parents and sister say they have.

Hi yeah we have a spirit living with us,we have never seen it but it mkes its pressence known,only yesterday morning my husband went to work he leaves at 6am and im always still asleep but he looked up to our bedroom window as he was driving away and saw our curtain was pulled over and he thought i was maybe at the window so he shouted up "whats up" and the curtain shut,i was fast asleep in bed and heard nothing.We always hear someone walking around upstairs and things will randomly
turn on and off like the kettle,the tv,and even our shower lol,it has never hurt us tho we have all experienced a unsettleing feeling at night,my husband said one night he awoke to feel like someone was pushing on his chest, i woke another night with a feeling like a cat had jumped up on the bed and half asleep i shooed it away with my hand to which obviously annoyed the spirit as then the whole bed started to wobble/shake as if someone was jumping all overthe bed it stopped as fast as it started.Another night i woke to feelin immense pressure all over my body i cud not move anything just my eyes and a horrible feeling and fluttering kinda noise in my ears it stopped after what seemed like a couple of minutes and a few seconds later i heard my 15yr old son makin muffled screams which turned to clear screams sayin "get off me get off me,help me" and then his bedroom door flew open and he ran ou2
t downstairs screaming help me help me with pure fear in his voice. This all happened around 3am.I also have a sixteen month baby boy who will not sleep properly he will just suddenly sit up as tho someone has woke him up and he will look around at something he does this at least seven times a night bless him.
