Humax have one of the best reputations

Humax - as good as it gets :

Normal list price about £250 from amazon

But I bought one of these 'graded' versions direct from Humax - absolutely perfect and effectively 'new'

It will also access BBC iPlayer if you connect it to the internet - works very well for me :)

I agree with birdie1971, I have the same Humax although I didn't know about the record 2 and watch one. It has been very easy to operate, also its remote can be programmed to operate my TV and my DVD player so I only need the one remote control.

Looks like it's a Humax for me especially with what Birdie has found.
Humax for me too - had one for 5 years with only one minor problem -about once a quarter the whole thing hangs & I have to turn it off and on at the mains - no recordings or settings lost though. If mine died I'd get another tomorrow without hesitation.
i have a Humax (among others in other rooms). It needs the power recycling every now and again or it will fail to update the guide. I think it must have some kind of computer type memory leak or something. Bit annoying really. But they all have one problem or another.
