It does seem a bit of an anomaly that we are giving aid to a country that is imposing an export ban on our goods. Perhaps quietly we should stop doing that.
The last time Argentina went on a Falklands adventure it was to distract its pipulation from dire economic news at home. As well as the 30th anniversary, we also have the situation that Argentina is suffering another economic crisis (along with the rest of us), and again this might be to divert the Argentines populus away from domestic woes.

All of this is entirely non-military
They are applying sanctions to us in the same way as we apply sanctions to countries we dissapprove of like Zimbabwe.
